Lassen Community College supports the theory that athletics makes an important contribution to the quality of the educational experience.
We strive to produce teams that students, staff and community will consistently come to watch and cheer with pride. Yet, ultimately we recognize our primary contribution as educators of young student athletes is to ensure we attend to meeting their academic, health, security and personal needs first and foremost. Our hope is we coach them well... enough to recognize and fulfill some of their goals and dreams in life.
The college participates in a well-rounded program of intercollegiate athletics. Cougar teams compete in basketball, wrestling, baseball, volleyball, soccer, softball and rodeo.
