COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 80-hour Core is required for those in first line supervision specific to a corrections or probation department environment. The examination of supervision in the context of corrections and probation environments will include topics to include but not limited to ethics, problem solving, discipline, legal update, grievance procedures, and leadership. This course is certified by the California Board of State and Community Corrections, Standards and Training for Corrections (STC).
