If so, this course provides essential training for anyone interested in meeting requirements for entry-level firefighting positions.
Learn from NWCG Certified Instructors with Direct Wildland Firefighting Experience. This course Meets USFS, & BLM requirements for Fire Fighter type 2.
Tuition free for California HS students through dual enrollment.
This course will include an understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS), wildland fire behavior, basic firefighting skills, situational awareness, and risk management.
Industry-based NWCG certifications for successful completion include: S-190 Intro. to Wildland Fire Behavior, S-130 Basic Firefighter Training, L-180 Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service.
