This course provides information about basic strategies to safeguard health and safety of emergency responders when their work involves potential exposure to hazardous materials. Topics include: detection of the presence of hazardous materials, hazardous materials references and safe work practices around potentially hazardous materials. This course may be taken as necessary to maintain certification.
A supplemental $5.00 fee will be charged including a $5.00 materials fee for CSTI course certification. This certification fee is due to Lassen Community College and will be collected at the time of registration. This course meets or exceeds the requirements for Cal Fire FF1 Module 1B.
