Graduation

The GRADUATION CEREMONY (or Commencement) is held at the close of the spring term. Submit your Petition to Graduate on or before the (10th) week of the semester of graduation.

• In order to receive a diploma for degrees or certificates you have earned, you MUST submit the Petition to Graduate, even if you do not plan to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.
• In late April, invitation letters will go out to all students who have petitioned providing information about the Graduation Ceremony. If you would like to walk in the ceremony, you must RSVP to the link listed in the invitation letter and purchase a cap & gown. There will be a graduation rehearsal the day before graduation.
• All family and friends are invited to attend. No tickets are required. There will be a reception in the Cafe/Student Union following the ceremony.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

If you have taken coursework at any other college which will be used towards your degree, you must have official transcripts sent to: Lassen Community College, Admissions & Records, P.O. Box 3000, Susanville, CA 96130. Your diploma will not be mailed until official transcripts are received.

Nursing Graduation

The Nursing Graduation is a separate, additional event for the nursing students. Information on the date for the nursing graduation will be available by May 2025.
